PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR SERVICE

PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR (PDR)

Dents are something that all cars are going to have sooner or later. It is always best to find the most economical and easy method for removal. Traditional dent repair involves filling the dent with body filler then painting it to match the exterior of the car. Though this does make the dent appear to be gone, it does not actually remove the dent, simply fills it. This is the traditional method for removing dents and it has worked for a long time – but it is not as effective as paintless dent repair. Paintless dent repair, or PDR, is a method by which the dent is actually removed.

HOW PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR (PDR) WORKS

The process starts by assessing the damage and looking at the size and depth of the dent. The next step is to take the time to find the best way to enter the dent for removal. The dent is accessed from the interior and then slowly pulled out with pressure. This is a great way to get rid of a dent completely and to make sure that the dent is gone forever.

PAINTLESS DENT REMOVAL VS DENT REMOVAL

PDR is more environmentally friendly as it does not use paint and other fillers to remove dents. It is also more effective and costs less often than a traditional dent removal would. PDR will actually get rid of the dent rather than just making it look like the dent is gone by using filler and paint to cover it up.

Traditional methods often cost more and sometimes less effective. Traditional dent removal often just covers the dent which means that even after you have had the repair the dent is still there. You want to remove a dent entirely so that no further damage is done and traditional dent repair does not actually remove the dent.
